Course Overview
Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC) is system to control of certain environmental conditions including air temperature, air motion, moisture level, radiant heat energy level, dust, various pollutants, and microorganisms.
The main key function of Heating Ventilation Air Conditioning (HVAC) personnel are to provide comfort air conditioning refers to control of spaces to promote the comfort, health, or productivity of the inhabitants. Spaces in which air is conditioned for comfort include residences, offices, institutions, sports arenas, hotels, factory work areas, and motor vehicles. Process air-conditioning systems are designed to facilitate the functioning of a production, manufacturing, or operational activity. Course Objectives
OBJECTIVES 1 :- Portential hazard/risk determined. OBJECTIVES 2 :- Method of refrigerant recovery correctly confirmed for the specific service. OBJECTIVES 3 :- Ventilation fan installed correctly according to Manufacturer’s IOM. OBJECTIVES 4 :-Window unit installed and performs correctly according to Manufacturer’s IOM. OBJECTIVES 5 :- Window unit troubleshooting was correct in rectified of the fault, and window unit was restored to perform as per Manufacturer’s IOM. OBJECTIVES 6 :- Split unit installed correctly according to manufacturer’s IOM. OBJECTIVES 7 :- The split unit performed according to manufacturer’s IOM. Split unit troubleshooting was correct in rectification of the fault, and window unit was restored to perform as per manufacturer’s IOM. Course Module
MODULE 1 :- Risk and hazard assessment
The installation, starting up and servicing of ventilating and air-conditioning equipment can be hazardous and requires specific knowledge and training.
Improperly installed, adjusted or altered equipment by an untrained person could result in serious injury, loss of limb or even death. The competency of risks & hazard assessment focus on identification of the safety precautions to eliminate/control hazards for each expected sequential steps for completion of work MODULE 2 :- Refrigerant handling
Refrigerant Handling focus on identification of system approaches to minimise refrigerant emissions to the atmosphere prior to opening an air conditioning system for servicing MODULE 3 :- Ventilation fan (1hp) installation & maintenance
Ventilation fan (1ph) can be standalone equipment or part of air conditioning system and its function is to move air for ventilation. The competency involved is focus on identification of the types of ventilation fan for installation, servicing, troubleshooting and preparation of service report. MODULE 4 :- Window unit (1ph) installation & maintenance
Window unit (1ph) is stand alone air conditioning equipment and its function is to cool and dehumidify air for human comfort. The competency involved is focus on window unit air conditioner installation, servicing, troubleshooting and preparation of service report. MODULE 5 :- Air cooled split unit (1ph) installation & maintenance
Air Cooled Split Unit (1ph) is standalone air conditioning equipment and its function is to cool and dehumidify air for human comfort. The competency involved is focus on window unit air conditioner installation, servicing, troubleshooting and preparation of service report Duration 2 Weeks Certification IPD-OUM
