Boiler Water Side And Fire Side

Course Overview

One of the main sections in every boiler is the water/steam side, commonly referred to as the steam drum. This is where the transition process between water and steam takes place. Proper inspection, servicing, and maintenance are essential to prevent leakage, dangerous conditions, or boiler failure incidents. The boiler fire side, which includes refractories, tubes, tube sheets, and the furnace, allows fuel burning and conversion of chemical energy into heat. Proper maintenance of each fire side component ensures high efficiency of heat transfer. This course is designed to expose participants to correct servicing and repair activities for both water/steam side and fire side components of the boiler.
