Course Overview
Boiler operation requires clean and pure water to ensure long-term efficiency and safe performance. Water treatment is therefore an essential component of boiler operation. This course is designed to expose participants to the operation of water treatment plants as well as maintenance of their components. Participants will learn both external and internal water treatment processes and gain practical knowledge on servicing and repairing key water treatment plant components.

Course Outcomes
- Identify water treatment operation and maintenance requirements.
- Prepare water treatment operation and maintenance personal protective equipment (PPE), materials, tools, and equipment.
- Carry out external and internal water treatment.
- Perform isolation during water treatment plant component maintenance.
- Service and repair boiler water treatment filter material and resin.
- Test boiler water treatment plant system functionality.
- Record boiler water treatment plant operation and maintenance logbook.
